Special Parachute Infantry
Ranger Unit
Unit description: Specially trained infantry unit with the capability to airdrop soldiers & equipment into operation areas and behind enemy lines night, day and during harsh weather.
Primary Objective: Capture key objectives as strongholds and siege the the town of Krasnovo. Cut off enemy supply lines and support routes.
Armband: Blue + Airborne patch
Armband Marking: Player Number
Uniform types: Marpat, Cadpat, Vegetato, Multicam/MTP, AOR 2, Digital Flora, ATACS FG, OD (Od, Od-Gorka)
Armament: Small arms, assault rifles, support weapons, sniper rifles mines and anti-tank weapons.
Unit type: Infantry
Game style: Offensive 80 %
Unit requirements: -
Base logistics: This unit will have a small base, tents will be provided by BE, players are allowed to bring own green/black tents. But the unit will need to be able to survive parts of the game without any logistics provided by BE. Fresh water will however be provided to key objective points for security reasons.
Special rules: This unit will be parachute dropped behind enemy lines (By offgame trucks) at gamestart.
Ranger Unit
Unit description: The ranger unit is the premier light-infantry of the GCT, a combination of special operations and elite airborne light infantry. The unit is a flexible, highly trained and rapid light infantry unit specialized to be deployed against any given target. Tasked to identify, capture or kill key personnel and rescue kidnapped VIP´s.
Primary Objective: Unknown
Armband: Blue + Ranger patch
Armband marking: Player Number
Uniform types:Marpat, Cadpat, Vegetato, Multicam/MTP, AOR 2, Digital Flora, ATACS FG, OD (Od, Od-Gorka)
Armament: Small arms, assault rifles, sniper rifles, support weapons & heavy weapons.
Unit type: Ranger + Sniper & Reconnaissance
Game style: Hardcore Milsim
Unit requirements: Good physical stamina and wildlife/hiking experience, equipment to be self-sustaining at least 75 % of game-time when operating in the area.
Base logistics: This Ranger unit have no base, no tents provided bu BE. Rangers will need to be able to survive parts of the game without any logistics provided by BE. Fresh water will however be provided to key objective points for security reasons. Players are allowed to bring own small green/black tents.
Special rules: There will be a special selection process & interviews pre-game (januari 2015). By booking a ticket to this unit there is no guarantee that you will be selected to the ranger unit. You are however free to join any of the other GCT-units if you fail to make the cut. This unit will be parachute dropped behind enemy lines (By offgame trucks) at gamestart.
